Milestone.

26th July 2010.

This date marks another milestone for my son.

Big deal or not,it is still something worth celebrating! Yup,from this day onwards,my son has officially said goodbye to his diapers! Yay! *clap clap*

Though it has been about a year or so ago since he's no longer wearing diapers in the daytime,we've never really started toilet training him at night.Blame it on his lazy mummy, who's savouring her undisturbed nights the past year since both kids have been sleeping throughout the night, from 9pm till 8am.It's like,no more getting up in the middle of the night to breastfeed!!! No more oozy woozy in the head,ya know!

Anyhow, the sudden determination and resoluteness that came to me 2 weeks ago could have made me a Nike ambassador.

"Let's do it," I told hubby.

"Toilet-train him," I added before he got any other ideas.

We got a few wet bed nights, all thanks to my slightly-becoming-lazy-to-wake-him-up demeanour as well as a let's-see-if-he-can-control-his-bladder test. But all it took was a few days of those and finally,we decided not to wake him up at all. When morning came,I crept to his bed and checked his groin.Ahhh,it was dry.As dry as a dessert can be...now how about that!

Hubby and I congratulated each other (hubby was truly relieved he could sleep through the night again!) and of course,we made it a big deal to our big boy.Lots of hugs and kisses and plenty of praises for him!

Next step? His younger sister. She's slowly learning how to pee on demand each time we visit the toilet.Yay!

Now who says I can't be easily pleased? : p

Of racecars, daughter's first day of school and mummy's bday!

Long weekend for the Aljaroo's last week,jam-packed with activities as usual! It was car racing day on Friday afternoon.Err,not too much of racing since they are pretty slow: p

Saturday was baby girl's first day in Shichida. No crying or whining at all,she was confident and happy in class, alhamdulillah!

Then it was my mummy's birthday on Sunday.A mini celebration at parents' home with lotsa food,of course...with our fave,JCo doughnuts! Yummmmmmmm!

Unknown to her umi,she grabbed my eyelash curler and started doing this!

My darling girl's lashes are curled enough yet here, she's trying to imitate me!lol

After a good lunch at Popeye's,this is the next stop-Kid's Fun Ride.

The place and rides available.

He chose his own red car.Getting ready....

And zoom....!

Round the bends.

Full of concentration.

Stop to pose.

What is she doing while her bro races?

She gets into her own yellow car!

Zoom! I wanna race too!

Daddy gave in to him,for another ride....On a motorcycle now.

Keeps on complaining,"It's so slow,"

She jumps from one car to the next.

My 'chaotic' ones! : p

Getting bored with the speed.hehe.

Saturday morning,during breakfast before class.

Waiting to get into class.

My classroom.

Oh,this is it!My first day in Shichida!

After class,I wanna eat!

Sunday-At grandma's place.

I sang a birthday song for grandma!

Birthday with a twist! No cake, doughnuts instead.

Lots of them....*burp*
P.S. JCo claims it meets all halal requirements.Perhaps it's on its way on getting a halal cert? : )

Rained again but determined to doa all the way to Promthep Cape. Here are my babies who are so looking forward to be at the beach.

After a long drive,we got there.

Beautiful view of Promthep Cape.

Promthep.

Huge waves hitting.

Hubby and I decided not to venture to this little island since we are with the kids.

A short drive to the beach...see it there?

The beach.

He flopped onto the sand immediately!

The waves here are huge too.

Busy building his sandcastles.

Not one but two!

Baby girl with her daddy relaxing by the water.

Sand all over.

The two who refused to leave the beach.

We have to make do with showering at this tiny place.Argh!
The water was trickling and I have to put on my hijab without a mirror. And dogs were all around that area!Adventurous or what?!

We saw elephants but I was against riding them after reading 'The Elephant and the Tree'.
Read that and you'd probably understand.

Afterwards,in Patong again at another halal rastaurant,Lebanese this time.

Hubby and I are both hummus crazy!

Delicious fruit freeze.

Getting pickled : p

Loves to eat.

Hah!I've finished up everything!

Atrocious! They have nearly everything fake in Patong, even Tiffany!I couldn't believe it,
even comes with its signature paperbags!*shakes head* *faints*

One of the many mosques in Phuket.

After maghrib,we venture to The Coffee Club to get our 1-to-1 ice coffee with ice-cream and shake.Yumm!

Don't let him sit on me!

Last day in Phuket.Couldn't sleep after subuh so I was psyched to go for my Pilates at 8.10am.Woo hoo!

Where we had Pilates. It was so rejuvenating for me.
Must definitely sign up for this back home!

Bags are packed, ready to fly back home. While hubby checked out,the three of us giggled and posed for photos in the car!

Bye bye Beach Club...*sob*

The breathtaking view from Marriott's lobby. From pool to sea...

Lobby area.

At Phuket Airport. Can't get enough of the seaside?

Can't sit still.

A way to keep him seated.

We are in the clouds!Absorbing all the beauty.
Placing all our adventures in our memory bank...Thank you, dear, for making this possible! *kiss*
