Double the fun.

Waited for nearly two months before the shipment and delivery arrived.We were extremely excited.It's a benchmark for my lil' baby...aww....a little grown up now : )

So from this....


We stacked it up to become this....

The kids were super excited (so am I!).

Even got them these to commemorate the occasion...haha....



So my baby girl has her own 'big girl's bed' now!How was the first night on her new big bed?She was fine taking a nap in the afternoon but came nightime,she wanted to go back to her cot.She gathered all her fluffy toys in her arms and kept pointing to it and said,'Zahraa wants to sleep,wants to sleep...'.Eventually I managed to soothe her-as usual,by breastfeeding her,got her to sing me some songs and just as she was getting sleepy,I bade her goodnight.Thankful that she didn't climb out of her bed,she was asleep a few minutes later when I went to check : )

But the next couple of nights were a different thing altogether.She now knows how exciting it is for her to be able to sleep near her brother and being able to climb into his bed!So hubby and I had to take turns going to their bedroom and warning them every now and then-stop playing and go to sleep!We caught them sneaking and giggling together...which I have to admit,can be so cute!His sister even climbed up to his bed and fell asleep there.

In the end,I am just glad they can sleep for 10-11 hours straight in the night without any interruptions : P

Skypark at Marina Bay Sands.

The exorbitant price didn't really deter us from exploring the Skypark at Marina Bay Sands.We are just soooo curious to get up there!So right after gobbling up our lunch,we headed to it,albeit getting lost somewhere somehow...hehe.

It began to drizzle just as we finished up taking our final few shots (their mummy posed a lot here too!hehe).We got the hot sunny rays,then breezy cloudy skies and eventually,some rain fell upon us during the whole time we were there on the 56th floor.It was a great day out though the long-distance walking and getting lost numerous times hit us too,but hey,we all took in good stride.That's the fun of it all ; )

It's the holiday season again (though not for my kids!) and are we glad that there are many shows lined up for the next two months : )

As usual,our itching butts made our way to various locations to get a sniff and loads of fun with some characters who have made our kids smile and dance.

Counting in Arabic!

After having mastered counting in English,my princess is now learning to count in Arabic.
Her teacher? Who else,but her beloved brother! : )

Needless to say,this is just so adorable.
